Launch Day Twitch Drops: Digital Distortion Fog of War

The wait is almost over—Stormgate officially launches on August 5, and we’re celebrating in style with an all new Twitch Drops campaign! Whether you’re a seasoned RTS veteran or jumping into your first battle, there’s never been a better time to join the frontlines.

Twitch Drops: August 5 – September 5 (PDT)

From August 5 to September 5, Twitch Drops will be live across all Stormgate streams. Just tune into any channel with Drops enabled and start earning progress toward unlocking your very own Digital Distortion Fog of War!

This isn’t just a cosmetic—it’s a badge of honor that shows you were part of Stormgate’s launch moment.

How to Earn Drops

To start earning progress towards your Twitch Drops, during the campaign,head to the Drops & Rewards button in your Twitch menu and search for Stormgate. Once you find our Drops campaign, click Connect to head to our account linking website, where you’ll be prompted to link your Twitch and Steam accounts. Once you’ve done that, you’ll be able to start earning progress towards your reward while watching Drops-enabled streams.

Once you’ve unlocked a reward by watching the required hours, you can head back to your Drops dashboard and click Claim. Once your reward is claimed, you’ll have it in your inventory the next time you log into Stormgate. 

How to Enable Drops on your Twitch Channel

If you’re a content creator interested in streaming Stormgate, you’ll be able to enable our Drops campaign on your channel by navigating to your Creator Dashboard and clicking Viewer Rewards → Drops, then making sure your Enable Drops toggle is set to “On”.

Once drops are enabled for you, as long as you set your Stream Category to Stormgate in your Stream Manager, drops will automatically be enabled for your viewers. We encourage you to add !drops or some other indicator to your Stream title so that your viewers know that drops are enabled on your channel when browsing Stormgate streams.

We plan to begin our Drops campaign around 12 p.m. PT on August 5, 2025, but this time may be subject to change based on how our initial launch goes. Keep an eye on our Stormgate Discord server and social media channels for updates!
