New Partnership with Untapped.gg

Hey, everyone!

We're thrilled to announce our new partnership with Untapped.gg, the industry leader in the realm of data-driven insights for games like Magic: the Gathering, Hearthstone, and Marvel Snap! Frost Giant will be partnering with Untapped to define our strategy for gameplay data going forward, including our plans for in-client functionality and how we support community projects. Untapped will be developing world-class profile pages and leaderboard functionality for Stormgate on the web as well as integrated directly into the game client. Untapped will also be responsible for providing data APIs to the community going forward.

Many of us on the Frost Giant team are long-time users of Untapped.gg’s data and stats-driven tools and we couldn’t be more excited about this collaboration. The team at Untapped includes hardcore fans of RTS and they’ve been diving deep into Stormgate since our pre-alpha days to create an exciting vision for how we can leverage gameplay data on the web, in-client, and for creating advanced learning tools to help players improve.

Our vision is for all players to have a Stormgate player profile page on Untapped.gg that celebrates their accomplishments, chronicles their achievements and recent performance, and allows them to share their journey with friends.

Untapped.gg has already created an initial set of community APIs to support existing projects and displaying the leaderboard directly on community websites. Updated API documentation, which the developers of community tools can use to update their projects, is available here. We are grateful to the Untapped team for putting in the extra work to support data project creators in the Stormgate community.

As we officially welcome Untapped.gg to our community, we are creating a pair of Untapped.gg channels on Discord: #general–aimed at discussion of the stats and analysis tools on the Untapped.gg website, and #data-api–for feedback and requests from community developers regarding our official APIs on Untapped.gg. The team at Untapped is eager to work with players and community developers directly to solicit feedback and insight into the kinds of features that they would like to see.
